MBA Days
I've just started my first term in MBA. It was a very nice experience attending classagain after 5 years of just working and going home straight, relaxing, gimmicking and not thinkingof any long test, quizzes or upcoming exams. I've decided to take up MBA because I thought it would be the first step for me to reach my goal, and that is to have a more compensating job andan established career for my own future. I thought of studying again even after graduating college but because of financial reasons I wasn't able to do so. And now that I have this opportunity, I grabbed it and promise to do good and finish the course. The subjects I have for my first term are Information Management and Financial Accounting. I was also surprised that I have to take up validating exams for MS office and internet. The first time again that I have to report in front was in my Infoman Class. My voice was shaky but I know it was just a first time. I will be used to it somehow in the next coming terms. The experience so far is fun and exciting. Right now I am enjoying it even if I am now too occupied with studies that I forget to have a social life of my own.In the end, I know taking up MBA is really fun cause I get to know people from different companies, of different professiona and walks of life.
PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism, as defined in the 1995 Random House Compact Unabridged Dictionary, is the "use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."Within acedemia, plagiarism by students, professors, or researchers is considered academic dishonesty or academic fraud and offenders are subject to academic censure, up to and including expulsion. In journalism, plagiarism is considered a breach of journalistic ethics, and reporters caught plagiarizing typically face disciplinary measures ranging from suspension to termination. Some individuals caught plagiarizing in academic or journalistic contexts claim that they plagiarized unintentionally, by failing to include quotations or give the appropriate citation. While plagiarism in scholarship and journalism has a centuries-old history, the development of the Internet, where articles appear as electronic text, has made the physical act of copying the work of others much easier, simply by copying and pasting text from one web page to another.
Plagiarism is not copyright infringement. While both terms may apply to a particular act, they are different transgressions. Copyright infringement is a violation of the rights of a copyright holder, when material protected by copyright is used without consent. On the other hand, plagiarism is concerned with the unearned increment to the plagiarizing author's reputation that is achieved through false claims of authorship.

Policies of various schools
When faculty members discover plagiarism, they may choose between simply penalizing the student themselves or reporting the plagiarism to College administrators, who will determine the penalty. Faculty members make such choices at their own discretion, depending upon the circumstances of each case. It is possible for a student to be penalized both by the faculty member and by administration. In general, the severity of the penalty matches the severity of the plagiarism.
In the academic world, plagiarism by students is a very serious offense that can result in punishments such as a failing grade on the particular assignment (typically at the high school level) or for the course (typically at the college or university level). For cases of repeated plagiarism, or for cases in which a student commits severe plagiarism (e.g., submitting a copied piece of writing as original work), a student may be suspended or expelled. Many students feel pressured to complete papers well and quickly, and with the accessibility of new technology (the Internet) students can plagiarize by copying and pasting information from other sources. This is often easily detected by teachers, for several reasons. First, students' choice of sources are frequently unoriginal; instructors may receive the same passage copied from a popular source from several students. Second, it is often easy to tell whether a student used their own "voice." Third, students may choose sources which are inappropriate, off-topic, or contain incorrect information. Fourth, lecturers may insist that submitted work is first submitted to an online plagiarism detector.
In many universities, academic degrees or awards may be revoked as a penalty for plagiarism.
There is little academic research into the frequency of plagiarism in high schools. Much of the research investigated plagiarism at the post-secondary level.Of the forms of cheating (including plagiarism, inventing data, and cheating during an exam), students admit to plagiarism more than any other. However, this figure decreases considerably when students are asked about the frequency of "serious" plagiarism (such as copying most of an assignment or purchasing a complete paper from a website). Recent use of plagiarism detection software (see below) gives a more accurate picture of this activity's prevalence.
For professors and researchers, plagiarism is punished by sanctions ranging from suspension to termination, along with the loss of credibility and integrity.Charges of plagiarism against students and professors are typically heard by internal disciplinary committees, which students and professors have agreed to be bound by.

The Best P10,000.00 Cellphones in the Market
Camera Phones: If your main preference is camera performance, the phones to look at are usually the ones to come from the Sony Ericsson stables. K550i is a 2mp auto-focus enabled model which also has a LED flash and lens cover for protection. The camera performance is one of the best among the 2mp cameras. There is also the W610i from the same manufacturer which offers similar performance to that of K550i but lacks a lens cover. There are also the oldies K750i and W810i which incredibly offer better performance than these new phones but fall behind in other areas by lacking some vital new features.Among the 3mp phones, once again SE has it's K790i and then there is the Samsung D900i. The K790i is the pick of the lot and offers excellent camera performance for the price. It packs all the features of K550i and instead of a LED flash it includes the ultra-bright Xenon flash. D900i isn't too far behind in performance and manages to pack the camera in a slimmer, stylish slider formfactor.
Music: In this category we have two of Nokia's XpressMusic phones: 5300 and 5310 and five SE Walkman phones: W350i, W380i, W610i, W660i and W580i. There is also the old W810i but it is by all means out dated now. All these phones listed here offer respectable sound quality. Hardware wise 5310 is a notch above the others meaning it offers slightly better sound than the others. It is also the only phone here to offer a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone while others resort to using adapters.5310 is also the only one to provide stereo loudspeakers, however actual sound quality of these speakers leaves a lot to be desired. The W610i, W660i and W580i are supplied with neat in-ear headphones which offer great sound quality. Others come with standard earphones, which should be swapped with better quality ones after purchase. Format support and player interface is similarly good on all of these. All of them also pack in a FM radio, the SE ones having RDS built-in to them as well. Overall if I'd to pick one out of
these, I'd pick the SE W580i for it's good all round features and performance.Stylish phones: These are for those who prefer form over functionality. The phones that fall in this category are Nokia 6300, Nokia 6500 Classic and Nokia 7500 Prism. All of them are good looking phones with similar feature sets. If I have to pick one out of these it'd be 6500 Classic. This phone is very slim and looks great. It has a gorgeous display and 1gb internal memory
Smartphone: Choosing a smartphone from this budget is a bit difficult as there aren't any particularly good smartphones in this range. It would be recommended to extend your budget and go for the better ones. (You'll have to wait for the next post to know what they are, in case you don't know already) If you have to choose in this budget, the choice is limited to Nokia E50, N72 and N70 ME. Nokia E50 is the pick of the lot as it has a higher resolution display, better keypad, better web browser and a newer version of the Symbian S60 OS and generally faster performance. The only area that N72 and N70 ME trump E50 is in multimedia by having a higher resolution camera and better music quality.
Reviews:
1) It was hard to really check whats the best phone for just a budget of P10,000 pesos but Nokia phones are really a good choice, aside from they are user-friendly, there are also a lot of designs you can choose from.
2) I'd still choose an all-rounder cellphones which has all the right features and qualities and is priced appropriately. In my opinion the phone that falls in this category in the 5k-10k range is SE K790i. At 9k it has a wonderful camera, respectable sound quality and good all-round feature set. Overall it is the best buy in this range. First runner-up will be W580i.
3) Music cellphone from Ericson would still be the first one i'd recommend. Aside form having a lot of features. It is more affordable than any other phone. It would be one of the most stylish also.
